Marco Berton Scapinello, an Italian analog photographer and film director from Rovigo, Italy who has worked on diverse projects, including a feature-length documentary on Italian director Adolfo Baruffi, which was featured in various film festivals. He has also produced music videos, commercials, and edited smaller projects. In 2020, he expanded his role as a creative producer in Padua, working with brands like Mutti and Cisco. Since 2021, he has collaborated with Will Media, directing documentaries like the series "Habitat." As an analog photographer, Marco is currently in pre-production for his autobiographical documentary "My Mother Has No Children," co-written with Giorgia Malatrasi. This project delves into his adoption story, exploring themes of identity, family, and roots.

- In terms of creative collaboration, how do you see the idea of bringing someone else’s vision together with your artistic talent – what outcome could that create?

Every creative collaboration should start with a powerful initial idea, but the journey may lead to unexplored destinations since visual arts, such as film and video, benefit from teamwork and mutual influences. Collaborating provides a great opportunity to grow and explore new artistic directions, enriching one’s work through the combination of different perspectives and talents and the process will lead to innovative and sharp outcomes.
